You're a good man. Now you can be a complete dick for 12 months.

I rescued 3 kittens from a drainage canal one time and kept one. The other 2 I gave away. Their mom had been crushed on the road.

You really should’ve finished him off with a bullet or baseball bat.

That cat was suffering and you provided it dignity and comfort. I declare you to be unbummed.

Found him around 10 at night.

If he made it through the night, idve had him at a vet soon as they opened.

I pretty much knew he wasn't going to make it.

But at least he felt safe at the end. Or I like to think he did.

And he wasn't alone. My cat Chloe laid by him. She let me know he died.

Well done.

I’m in general a karma believer guy and I believe your act of benevolence will later be returning to you or (even better) yours.

Inb4 Hitler was good to Blondi..., karma is a general concept, not an absolute.

You did a good thing. I just listened to Shelter from the Storm in his honor. He didn't die cold and alone because of you.

Twas in another lifetime, one of toil and blood
When blackness was a virtue the road was full of mud
I came in from the wilderness, a creature void of form
Come in, she said
I'll give ya shelter from the storm
