I was extremely tired and decided to go to bed early last night. I laid down and started to fall asleep. I don't know how to explain it but every time I would start to sleep I would bounce back. This wasn't just that I couldn't fall asleep but it was more like sleep was just kicking me back. I haven't ever experienced anything like it. I have had insomnia where I cannot fall asleep before but this was different as it would only happen after starting to fall asleep. Have any of you had this happen?

I take it as a sign to tug one out.

Stress induced restless leg syndrome. Or Random Limb Movement.

All the freaking time. Really sleepy for ten minutes, then suddenly wide awake. Like a mini power nap.

You probably kept remembering your coach is fat.

I’ve done that before too. In some instances, it felt as if I stopped breathing and I would suddenly wake up.

Sounds like some kind of seizure. Epilepsy maybe? Any history of it in your family....maternal or paternal?

Satan was trying to steal your soul. I wouldn't go to sleep, at all, for at least four days, to be safe.

Happens to me occasionally. Usually it’s when I’m really stressed out or worried about something and sleep is just elusive.

Sometimes I’ll fall asleep for an hour and wake up thinking I’ve slept for eight and then look over at the clock and say wtf!

Stop eating and drinking carbs at night. You will sleep like a baby.

This happens to me when I’m fricking exhausted. I’ll lie down and close my eyes and instantly start to pass out, only to violently shake awake and I’m basically awake for the next hour or so. It’s pretty annoying.

That’s called sleep apnea - you may want to get a sleep study done

What did you eat/drink before that? I’m betting that had something to do with it.

Either that, or stress.

I always have a spasm feeling right when I am about to fall asleep. You get use to it.
