My best man, groomsmen, and ushers have absolutely ZERO responsibilities besides showing up.

Wedding planners are worth every damn penny.

well thats the norm. on the day of the wedding the groom and his groosman eat, drink, do whatever together. there is no running around of responsibilities outside of who is picking up the beer.

Haven't read everything in thread. I took all my groomsmen and ushers out for a nice lunch.at a friend's wedding weekend he took us all to Emeril's Nola or lunch before his wedding. Great lunch. A few drinks. Then back to hotel to relax and get ready.

I agree, but I bet the hotel pool is closed.

My dad has a pool nearby but its a small downtown backyard pool with only a few chairs.

just find a casual place to hang out, drink, and watch football

whether it be at someone's house or a bar/restaurant, I'm sure y'all will have a good time since you have always come off as pretty chill

unlike Cajun

Alright, I just sent them email and said we are watching football all day relaxing on a patio somewhere.

I have UGA grads, Bama grads, LSU grads, UVA grad, and Ole Miss grads in my wedding

They all love college football.
