The hilton downtown has a bar downstairs and TVs and food. Just tell them to come down there at noon and yall hangout and watch games together. Yall could also hang out around the pool and drink. It's nice out there.

Don't listen to these haters bitching about your groomsmen and ushers. Mriluv had 6 groomsmen and 4 ushers

Some of the best times I've ever had were being a part of a wedding.

Rehearsal dinner, go out after with the wedding party, wake up and booze up until the wedding, wedding (meh), then a great reception. It was also cool to meet some of the groom's friends who are in the wedding that you didnt know prior.

Weather should be nice...I am trashy, but I would find a nice shady spot, set up some horseshoes, washers...college football on the tube, some barbque, some tunes, and hang out all day.

Or, if you insist on some formal activity, maybe a skeet shoot?

For my brothers we met up at BWW and starting drinking at 12. He bought us all flasks and our choice of liquor and we just kept drinking up until the ceremony

From a bride's perspective, I would rather them drink and hangout at the hotel so that just in case someone is drunk by wedding time, it would be easy to drag them upstairs to get ready in time. I would advise against letting wedding party people wander off on their own for the day...especially ones who like to day drink. Those are the ones who get drunk, lost, and show up late, which may cause the bride to panic.

Who are all these people who had a bunch of shite to do for their buddy's wedding? I've been in 4 weddings and I was best man for one. I don't ever remember having to do anything other than bring the bride her gift. The rest of the time, I drank beer.

If I remember correctly, you said the wedding is on a LSU road game in October.

That leaves October 4 @ Auburn and October 11 @ Florida.

Pick one early 11:00 a.m. game and place a $50 bet for each groomsmen. Obviously, if you all win, let the groomsmen keep their earnings. Get a keg, some burgers and brats, music and y'all all gather around and play cornhole/horseshoes and have fun and watch the game.
