Walker, a standout athlete at the University of Georgia who won the Heisman Trophy in 1982 before launching a longtime professional football career, said that reparations could force Black Americans to use genetics companies to determine payouts based on their ancestry and while also claiming that some Black Americans had involvement in the slave trade.
"We use Black power to create white guilt," he argued. "My approach is biblical...how can I ask my Heavenly Father to forgive me if I can't forgive my brother? America is the greatest country in the world for me, a melting pot of a lot of great races, a lot of great minds that have come together with different ideas to make Americans the greatest country on Earth."
He added: "Many have died trying to get into America. No one is dying trying to get out."

This is dumb logic by Herschel. Black power has always been centered around the exercising of power that black people have as well as the goal of obtaining or preserving rights where necessary. This is nothing more than a typical game that conservatives love to play when it comes to this topic.
There has actually been a history of some blacks leaving the US for Russia in the 1930s to escape racism. Don’t know if blood was shed trying to get out, but there was those who wanted to leave nonetheless.

I’ll answer that for you: there was not.
People leave this country everyday. Unless there was some legal reason, such as an arrest warrant or military service issue, no one has ever been forced to stay in the U.S.

The notion of Black Power began as a triumphal march of pride, accomplishment and prosperity. The Black People's march was focused on SELF-SUFFICIENCY and empowerment achieved through their own community's efforts and work.
It's been hi-jacked and perverted and TAKEN AWAY from the Black People - The Radical American Left have done this and now use this Movement towards their own ends - which is transformation of the USA into a Globalist Totalitarian Regime.
It's very sad to see such a wonderful Movement hi-jacked by White People Leftists - it's just another fine thing that White Leftists have stolen from Blacks.
