That’s a better belief system than some.

Well what does it say? If it’s for the betterment of society, I might be okay with it.

It doesn't really say that much in the short version.

Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 3
Chapter 4
Chapter 5
Chapter 6
Chapter 7
Chapter 8
Chapter 9
Chapter 10
Chapter 11
Chapter 12
Chapter 13
Chapter 14
Chapter 15
Chapter 16
Chapter 17
Chapter 18

Maybe they could break each chapter down to a sentence, like the heavy 10.

There is a statue of Moses in the Capitol and the Ten Commandments are posted in the Supreme Court. Since he (Moses) did not immigrate to our country, those must be signs that someone thought our legal code was based on the Biblical text (no matter how loudly the communists scream that it wasn’t).

Schools are supposed to be education, not indoctrination.

This should apply to religion just as much as it should to politics, gender, sexuality, etc.

Putting religious texts in school is the same as hanging pride flags and sh*t like that.

I went to a catholic school and I remember this being one of the pictures up on the wall in the theology classroom. We learned about all of the major world religions.

It's not a slippery slope for people with ball to stand up to this shite.

This country was founded on Christian values. No the government should officially sponsor a religion but if you're values are not centered around Christianity sit down and shuts up. No the Church of Satan is not a freaking church so sit down and shut up.

Ehh I’d have no issues with posting that in schools in India.

Also this means anything about Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, etc… shouldn’t be thought in schools rt?

Female teachers and students shouldn’t wear religious scarves right?

Oh no this is about being anti Christian.

Yep, he’s in the same frieze as Mohammad and Confucius.

Oh, didn’t know that part, did you?

As a catholic who attends mass semi regularly. I think a lot of people would be surprised with how much they identify with other religions other than Christianity. Taoism is not far off from a lot of the values you baws probably hold.

It strikes me that if you made a giant “love one another” banner, the sponsor of this bill would want it pulled down for “being woke” or encouraging gayness or something. Like my man Kurt Vonnegut said:

For some reason, the most vocal Christians among us never mention the Beatitudes (Matthew 5). But, often with tears in their eyes, they demand that the Ten Commandments be posted in public buildings. And of course, that's Moses, not Jesus. I haven't heard one of them demand that the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, be posted anywhere. 'Blessed are the merciful' in a courtroom? 'Blessed are the peacemakers' in the Pentagon? Give me a break!

Actually, I apologize for my previously posted inaccurate information: Moses and Confucius are on the south frieze while Mohammad is on the north. Silly me…

But here’s a list of all of the people whose writings should be on 11x14” posters in every classroom in the state, apparently: LINK

Yeah but no one would say to someone practicing Taoism they can’t do that.

It’s only your sky daddy that sucks.

Some of this shite we pull to draw attention to ourselves and how conservative we are so the nation will view us in a conservative light often times has consequences, doesn't it.

In other words, we frick around and find out.

The solution is often very simple. Keep the state and federal government out of it. Leave it to each district to decide.

While it may be a “historically significant document”, it’s not significant to America. His “belief” that it is a treasure does not have any relevance here.
