To paraphrase Longshanks: "The problem with California is...too many Californians...."

No one thinks the topography is ugly. The people and what the people are doing to some parts of it are fricked up. Stay off social media. They are moving the goal posts.

The Last O(asis) in 29 Stumps was a life savior back in the day. I don’t think it exists anymore.

I'd probably never want to leave Louisiana if it had San Diego's weather.

I remember someone here in the OT posted pictures of the natural scenery and landscape in CA. I have never been there but its natural beauty impressed me. Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, Palo Alto, Malibu, Pasadena are beautiful cities from what I have seen.

Most beautiful state in the union by far. Monterrey/Big Sur area is on of my favorite spots. Unfortunately, a majority of the people who live there suck.

Idaho is beautiful. It’s just not talked about much because it really doesn’t have a large city.
California may have some awesome sites to see. But the biggest problem in most places is the cost
Of living.

Yep, It’s obviously the largest state by population so it makes sense but more people voted for Trump this last election in California than any other state. I’m not sure if people realize this

Headed out to Corcoran and Tulare lake to help a buddy out on his cotton farm next week. Kind of looking forward to it. Its going to be hot though.

I’m in Fresno. It’s blistering hot out here right now. Get everything done as early as possible, preferably by 10am or after 8pm. You won’t have to deal with the humidity but the sun just scorches everything out here. Check out Superior Dairy and Rosa Brothers in Hanford. Root beer milk is amazing… if you like root beer. But they have other flavors too. Lemoore Naval Air Base is right next door and where they filmed much of Top Gun: Maverick.

Would not doubt if that is not some of the best farm land in the world.

Yep. Tulare might be the biggest dairy producing region in the US. The Westside produces an amazing amount of agricultural products.

It’s a gorgeous state all around. As has been mentioned the Bay and SoCal dominate it but get away from those metro areas and you’ll discover there is so much more that is passed over.

Love it there. Splash Cafe in Pismo

My wife’s family would always go to Los Osos, Morro Bay & Cayucos. They’re great for weekend getaways.

It is beautiful but a place with that many liberals is not a decent place to live or raise children.
