I live in the central valley. If you poke around, it's beautiful. I have a 10-20 min drive to so many swimming holes on the Tuolumne or Stanislaus Rivers. I'm 45 min from great trout fishing, and 1.5 from insane trout fishing. Can beat any bay area traffic getting to the Sierra. I can also go to the bay area anytime I want in an hour, can be at my company's office in SF in 2 (don't even have to drive). Location location location.... Also, laid back life with great fruits and vegetables and meat to be bought all over.

Most beautiful state in the Union IMO.

Utah and Oregon, imo.
Utah is a special place. Probably #2 on my list. And you could put Alaska anywhere in the top 3 and I wouldn't argue with you

I respond to good morning with “what’s so good about it” or “it IS morning” all the time. ITS A frickING JOKE. you’re supposed to laugh (or fake laugh if you’d like). It’s better than the same recycled stupid mindless platitudinous small talk everyone thinks they’re supposed to have all the time. Loosen up a little.

Just spent a week an hour up north of and in Santa Barbara going out to Vandenberg Space Force Base. Beautiful country.

The people that inhibit the state are mentally ill pieces of fricking garbage. The nature of California itself is beautiful.

The title of “Sportsman’s Paradise” should have been given to California. The outdoor life including hunting and fishing is incredible.

Of course it is. And with all those natural advantages they are driving people out of their state. I just hope Texas is too hot.

What in the frick are you talking about, “SoCal is ugly as frick”?
it's a smoggy brown dirt desert of traffic and urban blight? Hollywood said it was a tropical beach paradise. It's always a big disappointment to newcomers

I did that drive down the cali coastline a month ago. Just beautiful. My only regret was not scheduling more time to spend at the stops in santa barbara, half moon bay, santa cruz, and san diego. Id move there if i could afford it. Beaches and mountains all around you and the perfect weather

Have you ever been to San Diego? LaJolla is about as scenic is as it gets in this country.

The California hate is exaggerated. People generalize the entire state as being all blue haired libs. Hell there’s a bunch of those in every red state also.

The state is easily top to bottom the most beautiful state and I am personally interested to see if they can ever flip back to being a red state. It seems like it’s a balloon that will burst before long. It was a red state for many many years. Hell Regan came from there.

No they don't. Just the populated areas.

Northern Cal (SF is Central Coast really) is pretty awesome and has lots of really good people.

There are no libs in California. They gave up liberalism decades ago.

Sure. There are very beautiful areas. Just don't talk to anyone in the majority of the state. All they will do is piss off someone with somewhat of a functioning brain.

Yet another California topic where the inbred trash from other places that have no real experience in the place try and talk shite, and just look even more like fools, if that's even possible.

once you get to the rural areas there are a lot of right wing folks

Which are shockingly close to L.A. You get about 10 miles north of L.A. and it gets very rural very fast.
