Yeah, no.
The parents should discipline their child and if necessary bring something to occupy his attention. Just because they allow their child to act like a hooligan doesn't mean the rest of us should put up with it.

They are hurting that child whether they know or believe it. Raising a generation of kids that feel entitled and can do whatever they want will kill this country.

Yeah, I knew exactly how far to push my parents. Once I crossed the line, there was no walking it back. If we were out, and I knew it was coming as soon as we got home, that drive home was like a death March lol

Having kids certainly doesn’t make an expert, but it does give you first hand experience with raising kids, whereas people without children obviously don’t have.
I’m willing to bet 90% of the crap people in their twenties without kids say about how they will raise their kids when they have them will not be the case in reality.
While I don’t agree with the situation you witnessed, I don’t give a shite about others’ opinions of me when I am in public disciplining my kids—parents or no parents.

A 2-year old tearing up napkins at a restaurant isn't really a big deal, but
