He’s entitled to tear up those napkins.

kid's 2......2 years old. If it were a 3-4 year old, more logic can be applied.

On point, if he's tearing up napkins (he's 2) and the plan is to clean it up prior to leaving, I see no issue with it. Again, it's a booger-eating 2 year old.

Pecker, I've come to think your over-the-top criticisms are turning into outright judgements......whether its toddlers or fat people.

no they aren’t.

Not teaching him to interact as a normal human being is going to have repercussions.

Too lazy to take their kid outside and bust that arse. You don't have to do it often. I only have to tune my kid up like once a year and then threaten to do it after that.

One lesson I learned very quickly was to not act like an a-hole in public or when we were visiting someone's house. The arse-whippings for those offenses had a little "extra umph" to them. There was nothing worse than having a parent take me aside somewhere and whisper to me "you just wait till we get home".

I hope you were eating at Chuck E Cheese because you shouldn’t be bringing a two year old anywhere else. When you have a two year old you either don’t go out to eat or you get a babysitter.

I'm probably the last person that wants a kid around me in most public spaces, but I think parents should be able to bring their children out without fear of them acting like animals.

A two year old knows what it means to be obedient. A puppy knows what it means to be obedient.

Dude is on here telling fat people the error of their ways, other dudes how to dress, what cars to buy, etc. He knows everything......even how kids should be raised, yet he has none. fricking narcissist. I had a friend who was exactly like Pecker's online persona IRL. He's a fricking douche and people hate him. Just sayin.

And, does everyone realize the mental capacity of a two year old? Some can't even fricking walk yet.

Yes 2, but you still parent them no matter how much you fail. You still let them when they've reached the point of misbehaving, sure it doesn't work sometimes and sure you have to leave or whatever. But that doesn't mean you simply let them do as they please.

Plus if the mom literally said "we don't tell him No", there's clearly an issue.

We know some parents that have 2 kids with social and speaking issues, both have to see counselors. They come over the other night, and they give the younger kid the Ipad without freaking sound to watch in the corner chair while the other kid plays with our two kids.

Then they wonder why the kid doesn't speak or interact properly...

I can attest to the fruitlessness of arguing with a 2-year-old. You gotta pick your battles, and if shredding paper occupies the little shite while the grown folks are eating...frick it.

I say, let him shred.

Now, if he were throwing knives or something...that's different.

Don't judge too harshly.

That's a great way to create a fricking terror of a kid.

My wife has one in her class right now. Kid is a fricking nightmare as a kindergartner.

First thing to note to give you an idea on how shite the parents are....He was in kinder last year and started the year in first grade. They apparently found out mom lied on the paperwork last year. He wasn't eligible for kinder last year but they said he was a year older. I assume because he is a little shite and no daycare would deal with him (and also to save them from paying daycare).

So they moved him into my wife's class. All the other kids behave well. Do as the're told and are good kids. This little shite is constantly running around the room. Running out of the room. Coming close to breaking computers and the Ipad my wife paid for. She has all kinds of cool seating options for this kids but he always fricks with that, so my wife has taken the stuff out. He threatens to hit my wife (my wife wants him to because then they can suspend his arse and she won't have to deal with him). The VP has to come get him daily.

And the other poor kids have to suffer. Some of the more with it ones ask my wife why can't he go away forever.

He's not wrong, geez. You think 2 year olds are clueless? They know damn well plenty of things they aren't supposed to do. They know hot and cold, they know how to throw a tantrum when they don't get what they want, etc. You are acting like a 2 year old is a 10 month old.

Sure you lose plenty of battles and not everything gets through, but they know dang well how they are supposed to behave they just don't always have the capacity to behave well for long periods.
