Waves crashing above rooftops in Long Beach, CA from historic swell

That was quite uneventful. No rooftop "crashing". From what I saw, the sea wall was working and sent the splashes straight up. The wind pushed some spray onto the balconies and roofs.

That salt is gonna destroy those houses. That’s why I’d take a place on the intracoastal with a dock any day over beach front.

Waves aren't crashing above rooftops.
Waves are crashing into the floodwall and splashing above the rooftops.
Big difference.
