Mexico and Spain are as similar as Louisiana and France.
Mexicans are some insanely hard-working folks. I got nothing but respect for them.
Spanish are lazy elitist pricks who absolutely shutdown for hours each day.

If our own countrymen worked like Mexicans immigration would not be a problem.

The Hispanic workers I meet up here in Asheville are without fail the friendliest, agreeable people you would ever want to meet. Our entitled, lazy white brethren could learn a lesson or two about these people when it comes to family, work ethic etc. Stereotyping and judging people comes from the worst part of humanity.

They have a microwave somewhere. They don't leave home without it.

The Mex roofers on my house did stop and eat and napped but they started at 7:30 and left at 5:00. They were moving continuously while in the job. The oldest one was picking up stuff that missed the bin and he got all the stray roofing nails as well. All but one that my Polaris picked up for me....

SHEEEIIIIITTTTTT - we both know Texas folk rely on these men (and women ) way too much. They can do it all and normally do. There's a reason Perry was all bark no bite... roads don't build themselves.

Come on now. An all black crew of city workers would be so much faster if your white privilege would get out of the way.

The roofers I have seen do...they will work from 6am till about 3pm, they will break to eat and will sleep for awhile, then will go back to work and will finish up until around 8pm.

Not only do they work hard, you usually see them out shopping with the whole family unit, unlike another group.

I see them siesta regularly.
It's a trip seeing crews at a convenience store around 7, too. Line in always deep and each buying tall boys or 6'ers. Earned that cervesa.

They will work their asses off, no doubt about it. Two things you need to watch though:
1. Make sure they do housecleaning behind their work. They are notorious for working hard and fast, and then taking off with an absolute mess everywhere.
2. Don't leave any tools sitting around unattended. It's their culture to take it if it's just sitting there. And they won't think twice about it.

The people that complain about them being here and want them deported are the same people who won't do the jobs they do if offered more money. If you can't appreciate hard work, you've got personal problems

Every Mexican laborer I've seen will work circles around American laborers. Fact
A crew of about 10 roofed my house (80 squares of shingles) in about 8 hours. Same boss, different crew, hung almost 17,000 feet of Sheetrock in 2 days. 3 were on stilts, never a moment when a screw gun wasn't whirring, Mexican music blaring, was quite impressive. They setup their microwave in my pantry and their hot plate on the front porch.

Music is on but I haven't spotted a microwave yet.
That's funny as hell! When they were building the houses in our neighborhood you could could on the local Tejano station blaring...except these baws didn't use a microwave....they had a convection toaster type oven...I guess they were uptown Mexicans.
