They can cut down some trees, it might not be the safest way of doing it, but there was some tree company that 2 or 3 people in my neighborhood hired.. I guess over a 1.5 - 2 month span and it was all Mexicans. Trump would be stupid to build a damn wall.

Drumpf knows the only ones who would build it are Mexican... I guess America would pay for it after all.
Update: These guys have cut a total of 5 pines to the stump. Everything but a load of big trunks is gone and there are 2 on the roof with blowers removing EVERYTHING. Sawdust, leaves, they're even blowing out the gutters. I may go give them my SSN.

We hired some Mexicans to trim the palm trees in the front yard of our first house(apparently you can be fined by my city for $2000 if your palm trees aren't routinely trimmed).
I was warned by a coworker not to watch them trim the trees. Apparently birds and tarantulas like to make the shaggy parts of palm trees their homes. So many times the guys trimming the trees just stab any creatures living up there and let them drop to the ground and be cleaned up with the rest of the palm tree leaves, etc.
ETA: We got a good deal on it though...2 palm trees for $100. Usually it's at least $100-150 PER tree depending on if you want the trunks shaved.

FACT. I am from Austin and every time we go back to visit family they have new interstates or high rises or something. Two lane roads then are now six lane highways.
It's nuts. They built this SH-130 right by my grandparent's farm and I swear they built the entire run in two years. Meanwhile it took ten freaking years to do the lane widening in Baton Rouge. Nearly that long to do similar work in Metairie as well.

Truth! And taking another clue from Tx, just have them construct Tollways like NTTA does FOR Texas
Doesn't hurt to have several influential Hispanic legislation, too. Gotta scratch that espalda...

Mexico and Spain are as similar as Louisiana and France.
Mexicans are some insanely hard-working folks. I got nothing but respect for them.
Spanish are lazy elitist pricks who absolutely shutdown for hours each day.
Couldn't have said it better... this is all FACT.
Mexico would be an economic powerhouse if not for a terribly corrupt and hopeless government.

Good strong Chinese rope as far as I could tell. Plus, did you see the taco cowboy hat? Baller.

. Make sure they do housecleaning behind their work. They are notorious for working hard and fast, and then taking off with an absolute mess everywhere.
2. Don't leave any tools sitting around unattended. It's their culture to take it if it's just sitting there. And they won't think twice about it.
This.
I have 6 Guatemalans and all of this.
I'll also add that they're more concerned with what the other employees are making than what goes in their own pockets.
They talk so much shite about each other( and everyone else) to try to make themselves seem and sound like the best thing ever.
With all of that said, they bust arse. It's almost impossible to find the same work ethic in other ethnicities.

quote:If your tree is in the right of way, it's fair game. The primary goal is line clearance. We would give understory species a pass though, and there were different specs for different trees depending on growth habits. I ran crews for a while, I did not have hard working Central Americans.
I hate the crews hired by Entergy. They are indiscriminate and sloppy. They killed a huge elm tree in my front yard by "trimming" it until there was just one little bunch of leaves at the top. I've seen them kill dogwoods that were way under the power lines. The Mexicans don't know the difference between a dogwood and an oak.
