I should have specified. Vintage Heuer is definitely respected, and some of their new stuff seems nice, I think they just came out with some premium chronos or something. But, overall and in general Tags are not highly thought of.

That is an awesome looking watch and hard to believe it’s so low priced.

Or time warp to 2018 and get an Apple watch.
Monitor your exercise, heart rate, sleep, get your emails and reminders, answer or silence a call, read and answer text messages all from your wrist without taking out your phone. Get the LTE version and leave your damn phone home.
Oh, it also tells you what time it is, the weather forecast, and the ability to change watch faces on the fly.
And if you're over 65 it'll detect if you fall and ask if it should call 911.
Plus an ECG test from your wrist coming soon.
I'm sure theres more but thats just what I use it for.
So beat that with your fancy designer name brands and steam punk mechanical gears.

You can get any expensive watch....hell you could get a rolex, but a Timex will last just as long.

Check out Jack Mason, newish brand out of Dallas. They have some quality quartz watches in a lot of cool styles. I like the racing chrono.
Designed in Dallas.
Clearly says imported.
Just another fashion watch brand.

Yea when you have a "luxury" brand putting out shite that looks like a teenagers PoS fossil watch you have to question the brand as a whole IMO.
No. There are plenty of heritage/luxury brands that do this kind of thing.
B&R has black camo
Corum has a green camo
You are letting your personal opinion/style get in the way of sound thinking.

You could get a very nice seiko diver for under $300.

I already have a smart watch. They are not appropriate for every occasion.

They have a huge line and several are "dress" type & no watch is more accurate.

I Really like the sbdc053 and 51 but at 800 bucks this is why I do not own one.

Tissot Rock Watch. GOAT
With a little luck you might find one to match your kitchen countertop.

I think you messed up your talking point. It's that it'll be just as accurate (actually more accurate), not "last just as long".

You don’t need a metal band to match a silver or stainless ring. Just a silver or stainless watch face and a simple band. That opens up leather band options too, but just simple dark brown or black, depending on what you’re wearing it with
