I have a Maratac flieger and absolutely love it. Here is their diver watch and is a solid watch for $300. Great utility watch

Also,Tissot, Hamilton, and Orient are great buys for the price. Jomashop is your friend. I recommend trying to find the watch before hand and test drive it. Jomashop’s return can be a pain sometimes.

I had a Kenneth Cole watch that looked good, but it sucked.
Fossil makes a good watch, might not be for everyone, but just get an Apple watch.

Fossil is a fashion watch brand. It's cheap Chinese crap. It's all style and no substance. Which is fine if you want to get something that you are going to wear for a while then move on to a new look. But it isn't what you buy if you want something to last. FYI, Michael Kors and other fashion companies selling watches are just fossil watches rebranded and the price jacked up.

I think it’s nice - I have that one in the white face and get more compliments about it then all my other including my Tag and those priced in the 500-1000 range -
And I can’t stess it’s dependablity, accuracy I can’t say enough about!!
I have like 10 watches and the citizens (2) are always working and on time after sitting for an extended period..

The other thing you need to pay attention to is size. Go try a few on and see how they fit your wrist. Pay attention to the case diameter and lug to lug distance. There are plenty of watches I think look great but they're simply too big for my girlyman wrists.
