Fake news media again highlighting black on brown crime. Perpetuates the cycle and stereotypes.

Was watching a show the other day. There was a wildebeast being chased by like 10 hyenas. That poor beast ran full sprint, what seemed like for hours, trying to make it back to the herd for protection. It's lungs must have been about to explode. And just before he got to it, the hyenas got him.

Yeah I watch those shows too. Always pull for the wildebeest where were his boyzs at? Just standing around like a bunch of dumbasses. They got the numbers they just never do s***. Pisses me off.

I love it though when they got that big lion like King Kamehameha or whatever his name is comes roaring across the savannah and gets one.

No matter the species, the biggest threat to children is males who are not related to them.

Videos like that make you thankful that humans are sentient and human men who harm children they're not related (relation really doesn't matter) like this bear did, when caught are immediately arrested, tried and convicted in a court of law, has a miserable time in prison and if they ever get out of prison, are blacklisted from polite society and relegated to the lowest rung of society.

Additionally, I think many species become able to gestate again once their young offspring are dead.
Its once they are no longer lactating, and humans are pretty much the same

Remove the cubs, and the mother no longer lactates. Once she stops lactating, her cycle begins again. Human woman are the same as a whole

I feel bad for the sea creatures that are prey.

No one gives 2 fricks if sharks or tuna or other predators take out thousands of fish, but as soon as a lion takes down his meal it’s all
“That poor zebra! What a mean lion!”

Meanwhile the fish is all “they ate my entire family and you watched and cheered.”

Ive seen that. That's one of the best lion/hyena docs out there. He wasn't looking to chase them off. He showed up to kill those bastards.

Yes, and tom cats will kill other males kittens and wild stallions will kill other stallions foals. Mother Nature is very brutal.

However, better a quick death for that little guy than a lingering death due to staving or something else.

Humans usually just kill the babies before they are born. And seldom eat them

Watching an Orca kill a seal or sea lion is brutal.

Moral of the story. Don't think climbing a tree will save you from a hungry bear.

Also another good tip is to hike with fat people

What surprised me most was how for a while the male was more focused on killing the cub than getting the pissed off sow bear off his back. He was bent on killing that cub.

He really wasn’t interested in fighting her at all nor did he look for the other cubs. He just wanted to kill that disabled one real bad.

Kinda wonder if he hadn't already fuct up that cub and was just finishing the job.

Dragging both legs behind like that would seem to make paralysis more likely than two broken legs.

Pretty good nature video.

What sucks is at some point that guy has to say yep, all should be ok to climb down now

Yeah, seemed like something like that to me too.

But the poor little fella was just trying so hard. Making a go of it dragging his little limp legs around...then BAM.

"I don't have to outrun the bear. I just have to outrun you." Good strategy.
