Was watching MASH with my grandad the other day and it occurred to me that a series long storyline of that show was that i guy was trying to convince the government that he was insane to get out of military service....and he did so....by wearing a dress.

They'd have made him a general today hahaha

Wrong Teri. You're thinking of Hatcher.

Wrong to some degree. Teri Garr was on 2 episodes of MASH. Once in 73 and again in 78 playing Lt. Suzanne Marquette.

FFS, I was responding to the cat mixing up Teri Garr and Teri Hatcher.

From the episode, Assignment: Earth.

This was a backdoor (giggity) pilot for a show that was to star Robert Lansing and Teri Garr, with Lansing being some sort of alien raised super agent with Garr as his somewhat hapless assistant who was previously unaware she was working for such an organization.

Classic Hollywood "couples" math, Lansing was 16 years Garr's senior and they were to clearly have a Bond/Moneypenny relationship, at the very least.

My mistake. Thought you were responding to the OP's post about Garr being on MASH.

He was obsessed with her.

She was great as the wife in Close Encounters. Not a ton of leading roles, but she had some really memorable supporting roles.

The brawl between Teri Hatcher versus Charlize Theron in Two Days in the Valley is so great. Both were in their prime.

A lil six degrees of great tits, Teri Garr was in Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind as Dreyfuss's wife. Melinda Dillion (mom from A Christmas Story) was also in it as the lil abducted kid's mom. You want a great set to look at, google up hers!

Played Suzanne Hanrahan in the movie Slapshot and has a scene where she slept with Reggie Dunlop (Paul Newman). That's where you get to see the goods.

In the movie she is married to Tommy Hanrahan, the goalie for the Long Island Ducks. Tommy and Suzanne are getting a divorce because Suzanne slept with another woman (edgy for the 70s) and Tommy found out about it. Said that if she slept with a woman that makes her d*ke and Tommy a f*g.

Reggie found out about it during his pillow talk with Suzanne and during the game taunted Tommy with the knowledge. "Hey Hanrahan, Suzanne sucks pu**y!" "She's a d*ke! I know! I know!" Until it drives Tommy crazy, and he goes after Reggie, leaving the net wide open for an easy goal.

Post entirely from memory. Slapshot is one of the greatest movies ever.

There was something I always liked about Teri Garr but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
