The first time I found out you can request extra Krispy was a pretty fair day.

Hundreds of people started lining up the day before they even opened.

There was motivation for that

People wait in the cold early morning Tuesday for a chance to earn a free year of Raising Cane’s.

I used to like Bailey’s better back in the day when Cane’s was the single location.

No, but it makes me happy when other people are ridiculously happy at novel things. So way to go man! I’m glad you enjoyed the chicken.

Stunning review from the only black guy in Idaho.

When you start selling seasoned food in places like the midwest and mountain west, you can see why people are excited.

Not really, I find the chicken bland. It’s the “sauce”.
Anybody can make that “sauce”

I do I realized that day that Popeyes is the GOAT.

Without the sauce, Canes is just every other finger

Back in the day Cane's was cheap and awesome. It's still awesome but the portions are smaller and the prices are higher.

My first try was after an ACT prep course when there was only one location. I had the whole world ahead of me and got cracked out on sweet tea. So yeah, it was a great day.

I’ve only had two of those life changing moments with trying a new dining place.
15 or 16 years old and had my first visit to Ponchos. Much much later in life it was a chance to sit at the table in Commanders Palace kitchen for a multi course menu with basically what was our own chef and server.

Not even remotely close. Until I happened upon a Cane's in Fort Collins, CO on a day when I was missing home.

I'm late to the party since I've never had Raising Cane's and they have one near me on Carrollton and Tulane but every time I pass that place it's a giant fluster cluck with cars backed up.

Cane's is ok. Graves hit the jackpot when he stole someone elses ides and did it better.

But they are still at the high end of mediocre when you consider price, amount of food and quality of food.

For the price of a Caniac platter i can go across Claiborne to Bayou Hot Wings and ger five enormous pieces of chicken, each at least double the size of the ladyfingers at Canes, and far better fries.
