We hardly ever shopped at Walmart anymore, but decided to try this service here in BR at the Burbank location. Granted we don’t get any meat there but overall we have been very pleased with the service, and the conveince factor is awesome. I did the pick up last week and I was actually impressed by the workers delivering to the car.

My wife (no pics) will go get meat and produce at Albertsons across the street, then stop and hit the WM pickup on the way home for everything else.

As someone who shops for just himself, I love trips to the grocery store. I could see how a store pick up option would be useful if you were buying for a family.

My wife ordered a 1 lb bag of birdseed and they ‘uograded’ to a 30 lb bag lol. I’m pleasantly surprised by their produce and meat selection, we don’t do like steaks but chicken breasts and what not us fine. Saves tons of time shopping, money, and very easy to do in spare time at home.

I prefer to go inside myself but sometimes all that walking hurts my feet.

Just dont expect them to pick out the best meat or produce for you
As a business that is trying to win your repeat business, this comment makes no sense. They may not pick the exact some item you would have chose, but that does not mean that what they picked isn’t the same in quality.

The market store near my house never has weirdos or trashy looking people.
Considering how the public more and more looks like a cantina scene in a Star Wars movie that's quite a feat.

Funny and tragic to see 50-60 year old morbidly obese women with wild metallic colors in their hair, +tats, and piercings. They're about as trendy as bubonic plague.

I despise shopping at Walmart but admit that their pickup is amazing. Tried to use Rouse's pickup and that was a huge mistake. Placed the order on the app Rouses has you download. Went to the store and was told that there was an error and they didn't even pick the food. Completely wasted my time.

If they did not provide this service wouldn’t the customers be getting in your way? Seems like a wash.

I can only speak to Kroger here but they use these carts that are significantly larger than a normal cart.

They will leave them in the aisles while picking groceries for multiple orders. The program routes em thru the store so they can pull orders.

It is a minor problem but it can be a pita

That said, the wal mart pick up is quite a bit better than the Kroger pick up. The Kroger guys just won’t get a few things and their online system sucks

I'm sure it is a good service. I just prefer to pick out my own produce.

Kind of the opposite. By ordering over the app it cuts down on impulse buying and you can stick to a list.

I’ve used this service about 50 times with great results. Pick up on my way home from work and grocery shopping is done in about 7 minutes

What annoys me about that service is that the workers filling the carts get in the way or normal customers.

Absofrickinlutely. I was there Saturday Morning and there were several of them large carts blocking aisles and one in the meat dept too.

I love the concept(the gf uses it at least twice a month) but them carts are a bitch for real live shoppers.

Yeps. Several studies before Walmart even joined the online pickup/delivery have proven grocery bills decrease with online ordering/pickup or delivery biz. People aren't tempted with snacks and bullshite impulse buys.

My wife uses grocery pickup cause the front end manager stalks her everytime she goes in the store. Even to the point where he goes out in the parking lot when she’s leaving.

Service is nice to avoid going in the store but you will end up with the oldest produce, meats, bread and milk.

Almost used it but they ruined it for us. We always get plain salmon and we make our own sauces. I know for a fact that they have it but the only options for me to buy were the ones pre-seasoned which cost an extra $1-$2 per package. I said to heck with it and we just get it ourselves. Plus I'm really picky about vegetable selection.

ETA: We use the Neighborhood one near Jones Creek. I'm not about the Super Walmart.

Considering mine literally reads expiration dates out loud to me, that’s not true.
