Especially to young kids who attended your baseball camps! You changed the lives of so many for the better! I will always remember the first time I heard the hold the rope story at your camp, wow!!
Your camps were some of the best days a young kid could ask for !

My son decided he wants to go tomorrow so I went to purchase tickets site says sold out.
Obviously means no more tickets didn’t realize they were going to have a capacity limit. And I am kinda shocked that there was such a demand .

Somewhat before but hit it me January 1991 . We sake patriotic songs each day during music !
5th grade teacher broke down as her husband had been deployed she had a 6 month old at home !
He came home but it put things in perspective for me from that day on!

Currently in skagway Alaska just had a group of 3 ole miss fans walk up to me and my son ( i had lsu backpack )and say we are gonna beat your a$$ come September and start chanting hotty toddy.
My not quiet 8 year old turns around and says stay classy guys. Geaux tigers I didn’t even have a chance to say anything.
We just kept walking.not even worth our time.
Might be boring story to you guys but proud of my son for night buying into their crap Geaux tigers

We head out in a few weeks for our cruise. Will be going on the royal princess .
Juneau- doing the small boat holds 20 people couldn’t get Marc booked but still small group should be good
Skagway- doing white pass train ride
Ketichan - will just be walking g around town taking in the sights.
Arrive in Seattle on Friday mid morning ship leaves Saturday. With World Cup still going on will be limited on what we do .probably take in pike place.
We are staying an extra day upon returning as well. Looking forward to this trip for sure

I have a few items not as extensive as some of you but my top ones personally are
1) original Dome patrol poster signed by jackson, swilling, mills, vaughn . Grandma’s neighbor was beat reporter back in day and she gave it to me as Xmas present. When I was 11.
2) signed Shaq jersey from his lsu days.
3) signed baseball from every lsu national title team
4) turf from Tiger stadium from UF 97, ( have that ticket stub signed by Kevin Faulk alsopost 2019 Tennessee 200, and couple more turf .
5) also from my younger days I have 20 signed old pro wrestling illustrated magazines signed by sting, hogan, flair, macho man, hall, Nash etc.

Personally BIL lived in Delmar right across the road from pacific and Torrey pines! When visiting a hike run in that area was amazing the views gave you energy and a calmness hard to explain!

I think we all can agree there are moments in life those who have lost a father it takes your breath away,at times but you draw on his words of wisdom and lesson of life to be a better man.
