I imagine the contest would cause some lost appetites.
Wonder how they came to that conclusion. Unless they mean management decided so therefore the corporation decided.

I don’t think I’d have it on in a restaurant I owned or managed, but if it was on TV already I would just ask those offended not to fricking look

I doubt they were offended as much as disgusted. Look, I like the HD eating contest. But it is pretty gross and not something I’d necessarily want to watch while eating lunch.
Still, why not just turn away rather than making the restaurant change the channel?
