Waiting room madness

Sitting in the waiting room of a Drs. Office. 4 phone conversations, blaring tv, 2 people tapping their feet on the floor and 1 playing a game on their phone with the sound turned up. This has to be why noise canceling headphones were invented.

Last time I went to the doc was for my annual back in December.
A lady came in, and when they told her to have a seat in the waiting room like the rest of us. She was so freaked out about Covid, she actually was "literally shaking" that she had to be in a room with the rest of us.
The tv was on mute, nobody was talking on the phone, and the room was carpeted so no feet tapping noises. So we all just watched the shaking lady instead.

Not stressed at all, listening to music while waiting. Took my earbuds out to hear who they were calling back and noticed how loud it was. Just an observation about how much noise level.

I haven't been to a doctors office in at least a decade. Take care of your body and this wouldn't be an issue

Went to my doctors office yesterday for Adderall and Cialis refills. I was the only one in waiting room and no mask. 15 mins in and out.

Especially when it’s some boomer reality show on HGTV or something. I’m already annoyed and stressed and then having that blasting in my ears is tantamount to torture.
