One of the positives to come from Covid was the ability to stay in your vehicle and they'd call when it was your turn. That needs to stay.

Sir, your appointment is at 8:15, please show up 15 mintues to do paperwork.
Office opens at 8. Line of people start coming in.
Show up at 8:00, paperwork done at 8:05.
Get called to go to the back at 9:05. Nurse weighs me and takes my blood pressure.
Wait in room until 9:35.
Hear doctor go to the patient in the room next to mine. Old lady. They talk for 10 minutes about her problem, he walks out and makes a phone call. Chats with the nurse.
Goes back in, talks to her about the weather for 10 more minutes.
10am he pulls my chart from the outside of the door and comes in.
10:05, he puts on his latex gloves and starts the prostate exam.
I feel both of his hand around my waist. As he penetrates, he whispers in my ear.
"Enjoyed the 2 hour wait, bitch?"

This is why I pay the concierge fee to see my Dr.

Sounds like you need to crop dust some people and get your revenge.

Disagree..... anything can happen no matter how much you take care of your body.... until I got really sick my boss missed 10 days with a bad illness. He doesn’t smoke or drink and I smoke like a chimney and drank like fish... he caught a bug... shite happens.

Sitting in the waiting room of a Drs. Office. 4 phone conversations, blaring tv, 2 people tapping their feet on the floor and 1 playing a game on their phone with the sound turned up. This has to be why noise canceling headphones were invented.
Actually, this is why I exclusively use tele-med nowadays. If I have gotta have blood drawn, I go inside to have it done and the doctor calls me to discuss the results. No irritating people in the waiting room, no waiting because doctors booked too many appointments, and no danger that I will catch some shite while sitting in the waiting room with some sick frick. I don’t plan to ever go back to in-person visits unless absolutely necessary.

Paper forms are archaic. Should be able to do ahead of time ideally within the EHR platform or if not that then in a database of some sort. That is a huge waste of time on both the patient and provider side. Paper forms are the devil.
Every component of the visit that can be streamlined and standardized should be so that unforeseen circumstances and appointments that run long have less of an impact on patient wait times. This helps so that once the provider is in the room they can spend time listening, performing necessary exams and formulating a plan with the patient instead of rehashing everything. Bad appointment experiences are definitely a roadblock to delivering the best care.
I am in a specialty that requires both hospital and clinic work and can be unpredictable, we have processes in place to mitigate wait times and these start with communication to the patient and offering a solution. This is something that I and the other doctors in my practice take seriously.
Multi slot appointment booking unfortunately is a necessity if patients expect to have reasonable time to next appointment. There just is not a way around that. I can promise, most providers don't want to be there any longer than they have to.

Buddy, you might want to slow it down before you end up on a list.

Sounds like you need anxiety medicine
Go in and tell the doctor that you sometimes get nervous. But don't lie and tell him that you urinate 11 times a day, otherwise he may stick his finger up your arse.

Must be nice.
Here you have to call and wait in the car.

Probably the same type of person that has speakers and radio for a vehicle that is worth more than the vehicle itself.

Sounds like you need anxiety medicine if a Dr waiting room stresses you out that much. Or a safe space."
Speaking of needs you have a need for reading comprehension. He said nothing about being stressed.
