Photo ID? Virginia doesn’t and never has as I presume aligns with most other states.

Sane states require an id.
Virginia is a prog run pos state now run by Yankees in NOVA.

it’s a good thing louisiana doesn’t require id to vote.
We wouldn't have any black politicians if people had to show ID to vote.
From Secretary of State website:
When you go to the polls to cast your vote in an election, be sure to take one of the following:
a driver's license;
a Louisiana Special ID;
LA Wallet digital driver's license;
a United States military identification card that contains the applicant's name and picture; or
some other generally recognized picture ID that contains your name and signature.
If you do not have a driver's license, Louisiana Special ID, a United States military identification card that contains the applicant's name and picture or some other generally recognized picture ID that contains your name and signature, you may still cast your vote by signature on a voter affidavit.
You may get a free Louisiana Special ID at the Office of Motor Vehicles by showing your voter information card. If you have misplaced your voter information card, contact your registrar of voters for a new one or print your own by logging into the Louisiana Voter Portal as a voter. Click the 'Voter Registration' tab at the top then click the 'Print Voter Information' link located on the ribbon on the left-hand side.

An elderly lady has been a poll worker at my voting location for years. I always walk in - tell her my name - and tell her I’m the last entry on the voter roll page where the first letter of my last name appears. She always looks me straight in the eye and states “you’re gonna have to prove it to me.”

It’s not the id that’s the issue in Ga, it’s that the legislature gets to overturn the vote of the people.

JBE won based on metro statistics, police in his back pocket, and being a former army ranger.
I still can't fathom how he won a second term.
He won his first term because people couldn’t get past vitter having an affair.
The second term the only thing I can figure out is rispone was just a poor candidate who could do nothing but hang onto trump.
I’d like to see republicans get it together in Louisiana but I have 0 confidence.

Try again. They are now overseeing the county election boards and can intervene if they see the election boards trying to pull any funny business. You know like not allow poll watchers from one side.

Yep.
Then she reads the name off your license comparing it to her register while another(usually elderly lady) poll worker writes it down on a dual register to make damn sure the full name on your license is exactly as is on the register.

I always find it ironic that politicians say poor people can't get ID's but poor people have to show ID to get government benefits
Yep, the only people without ID's have no use for them, and don't want to be identified.
It's a shitty attempt by the left to create an issue that doesn't exist.

Perhaps smoke screen is the wrong term.
The voter ID argument is the low hanging fruit of the bill. It's easier for the target audience to comprehend.

He was running against phony rispone. Thats why he won a second term.

It didn’t go over my head. It’s simply a political discussion and belongs on the political board.
This is the Covid/Vaccine board.

I bet they did background checks that required photo ID for everyone who is working on that movie.
I’m just going to walk up to the set and say I’m will smith. They would be racist to ask for an ID

If they don't think like you, punish them.
This is getting ridiculous. Normally, I'd say people are overreacting to things like this, but the dems and all their cult-like following have made it clear. If you have any conservative values, they not only won't talk with you or listen, now they won't do business with you and they think you should change your values to align with theirs and if you don't, you're a huge problem. Conservatism is under attack.

With a PHOTO ID? Again, in Virginia, which I've lived in long before it was blue, it's imply a voter ID card with no photo and has been since I moved to the state in 1980.

I would think that if I was going to vote illegally, what the hell, might as well go ahead and get a fake ID.
