In the Sunda Strait any collapse can yield a tsunami unless some of the old crater acts as a baffle and deflects it.

the report of the European standing by the water taking videos of the volcano said he didn't feel a thing, Then suddenly this wave came at him.

There have been some really wonderful photographs of this volcano because it seems to produce lightening which photographs well at night. (Google news- search Krakatoa for some neat views.)

Footage shared on social media showed a large wave crashing into a tent in the resort, in which popular Indonesian rock band Seventeen was performing. Members of the band were seen being swept away as the wave destroyed the stage.

In a tearful Instagram video, singer Riefian Fajarsyah said the band's bassist and road manager had died, and three other band members and his own wife were missing.

Sounds like the Band Seventeen is no longer as the Tsunami caused a band split up. The new band will be called Eleven.

Video of a concert right when tsunami hit stage. Kind of a shitty video, you just see the stage break away and panic

That was a pretty badass intro

It really does make for a fantastic picture. I’m fascinated by volcanos and their catastrophic but beautiful eruptions.

1837?

Look at this liberal moron..

Will utterly chastise anyone for not believing the pinpoint accuracy of soil temperature measurements from the 1800's as proof for global warming,

Then scoffs at a known global event from the same time period.

frickING LIBERALS.......They are either pure morons, woefully ignorant, or hypocrites.
