What I see is General Motors beating Ford.

Chevy now has a pussy sounding corporate dick beater talking about all those worthless JD Power awards like it's an accomplishment or something.

Truck brand pissing contests are so gay.

Especially when they all use the same suppliers.

Put Chevy, RAM, Ford, Nissan, Toyota full sized trucks all in a bag and blindly pull one out.
Treat it OK and it will probably do the same for you.

That is the first vehicle I ever drove on a street. 1970 Chevy C-10 long wheel base, fleet side 400V8.
And I still have it.
I also have a 1976 Ford F-350 flatbed with the gas tank behind the seat. Both are great trucks.

Yep... That's what the Foed drivers always fail to realize...

Last truck was a 97 F150, traded it in at 230,000, only thing wrong with it was plugs kept backing out, biggest maintenance I ever had done on it was ball joints and alternator.
I now have an 08 GMC Sierra with 214,000, only thing wrong with it is front passenger tire sensor is broken, biggest maintenance I’ve had done on it is rear end rebuild.
I think most modern vehicles can easily make it 200,000 miles with routine maintenance.

I grew up a Ford guy. Purchased a 94 f150 that I still drive occasionally. Most of my family had Chevy because we are not OT rich and tend to drive them until the wheels fall off.
Like others have said, they all last if maintained. The biggest difference is the fact that Ford changes so much every couple years that parts won’t interchange. That’s a big deal to guys who want to get all the life they can out of a truck. It’s also easier and cheaper to change out simple parts like waterpumps in a Chevy.
Try to find a set of rims on Craigslist for a F150 with a 5 x 5.5 pattern, then look for a set that’ll fit a Chevy truck - you’ll find tons for the Chevy because they don’t change simple stuff like bolt patterns on wheels.

Vintage...hahaha. I remember when those chevy's came to market. Ford did a head to head test at their proving grounds where they try to break vehicles. A video was sent to dealers. The chevy bed used welds that would break. Eventually the bed broke off, the motor mounts broke, and the transmission came loose. The ford had cracked radiator mounts, but could still drive at highway speeds without issue. I'd love to see trucks run through that same test today.

I would still rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.
That only proves that Ford owners are stupid.
