I might have to start showing patients this video in ER to explain what 10/10 pain is

Reading this stupid commentary of yours was almost as painful

Fugging this. When they asked me this question, I started rationalizing like ok I guess 10/10 is on fire so I gave em a 7.

Now I see a lot of injury claimants walking around fine claiming 8/10 pain

Have you ever broken your back in a catastrophic accident? I have and it’s one of the scariest and most painful injuries imo

I know how he feels. I loaded 1,200lbs of bricks in and out of a truck yesterday and now my back is killing me. Definitely the same thing.

Same. I feel like I’ve been in serious pain before. I feel like if you can have a conversation without screaming in agony then it’s not 10/10.

2.3 seconds to fall 85 feet in a free fall according to online calculator.

Yeah I'm gonna give the guy who plunged like 80 feet and broke 80% of his body a pass on reacting to the pain.

Maybe dummy should have thought about his wife and kids before he started fricking around with gravity

Four young kids and what looks to be a fairly attractive wife now have to take care of his decrepit arse because he had to go joy riding on an air bicycle. Maybe I’m just lame, but I can’t imagine not considering the impact my actions could have on the people I love the most.

It's laughable.

But not as funny as the 20 year married consortium claimants who swear they were fricking like rabbits before an accident and "only" have sex twice a week since.

Had a doctor, in a deposition and on the record, once explain it as a 10/10 means that you would consider suicide a viable option over the pain.

Not to mention the pure adrenaline from thinking you were going to die to still being alive.

There's a few guys in the Youngsville area that are out doing this at sunset on nice days. I'd rather fly a small airplane than a propeller attached to a parachute

There are a lot of risky things like this I'd like to do, but I figure I missed the boat when I had a family.

Taking risks for "fun" is among the things in this world I have never understood.

Americans will do almost anything for a little dopamine be it for fun or social media attention. It appears this guy was going for both.

I don’t really get the hate. It’s not that dangerous. I’d consider this a hell of a lot more sane than parachuting for example, and also lower than bungee jumping, paragliding off a mountain, freediving to 100 ft, etc. Hell probably safer than scuba diving to 150 ft.

Bet if he wasn't holding that fricking selfie stick, he probably would have been able to recover it.
