im fine with that. they shouldn't be able to overbook because they are scared someone isn't gonna show
thats horseshite and anyone that disagrees is a POS

Has the video been posted of the asian guy getting back on the plane?
Are we sure this fella is a doctor? He comes off as completely off his rocker. I don't care that he got his arse dragged out of there. These antics + not getting off of the flight + screaming like a girl and going dead weight like a toddler has me siding with United.

he may be a doctor but his patients weren't going to die if he was a day late. its him using it to get special treatment.

There's a Twitter user Natalie Chen that's commented on that tweet. I usually click on twitter handles to see what people are crying about. I regret that shite right now, especially since i'm at work.

He didn't have to be a day late. He could have taken the $800, rented a car, and driven the short trip to Louisville to save his patients' lives

Also, it's probably been covered, but if the flight was delayed 2 hours because of this dumbass, you would have arrived by car in Louisville about an hour later.

Based on those follow up videos, it's probably best that this guy NEVER gets behind the wheel of a car. He strikes me as a turn left from the far right lane without warning kind of guy.

Did the guy get screwed? Sure. He has every right to be pissed. Take your $800, bad mouth United in casual conversation for the rest of your life, and deal with it.
His antics are unjustified. If he really is a doctor, I'd seriously be concerned about his abilities. That guy is a total fruit loop and he's more responsible for this mess than United.

United: The beatings will continue until volunteering improves.

Has anyone called out this dude yet for pulling the "I'm a doctor" card? Does that make him getting home more important than the other passengers?

Nado, I am willing to bet that you have benefitted from this overbooking policy, and you aren't aware of it.

I "benefited" once from an AA overbooking. I was livid and then late for a wedding the next day. I've also never flown with AA again. I tore the voucher up and tossed it. Who would continue to fly with these shite airlines?

I'm curious to how many people actually take the flight they book?
Granted on Delta I can change my flights same day for no charge, but I rarely end up on the trip I reserve due to meeting time changes, etc.

PEPSI: We made the biggest PR blunder of any major company this year.
UNITED: Hold my beer.
