Ahh.... the world is a little safer today.

quote:

According to MTO News, police officers responded to a "rape in progress" call at a public housing project in East Cleveland on Tuesday, and were forced to fatally shoot the alleged rapist. The suspect had a gun when officers located him and continued to point it at his female victim's head. When the man refused to drop his weapon, officers fired more than a dozen shots, killing him on the scene. The victim, believed to have been shot and assaulted by the suspect, was transported to a hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

It feels good right?

It’s like the first cup of coffee in the morning.

don't understand why the cop retreated from the victim and essentially risked her safety there for a second. eta: just read, the cop allowed him to walk all the way up and put the gun to her head... SHOT WAY TOO LATE BUD.

Waited way too long to shoot him. He could have killed that woman well before they could have done anything to stop him.

Ok, so I watched the video and glad that the bastard is gone, but what the hell. The cop let the bastard walk right back to the poor women and stand right over her. He should have protected that women and shot earlier.

Yeah, definitely the wrong move. I’m not a cop, but I believe he should have stood his ground. If the suspect is approaching with or without gun, then the gun is pulled and trained on suspect. If suspect reaches for gun, or brandishes a weapon while advancing towards you/suspect, then deadly force should be utilized.

Yep, should have never allowed suspect to get that close. Nor advance in any manner.

Cop should have taken that shot before he did. Situation was just about to get out of hand.

I can’t believe the officer allowed him to position himself over her with a freaking gun to her head.

Well I’m sure cops are really hesitant to shoot a black man nowadays no matter what the situation is. Can you blame them?

And if he shot too soon, he'd be crucified by the media and face murder charges.

No way in fricking hell I'd be a cop these days.

I think he was yelling, “That’s my woman!”

All the more reason to not let him get close to her

i'm still looking for the "graphic" violence. all I saw was the side of the cop's car.
