Vidalia has the advantage of being down the road from Ferriday.

There are probably hundreds of worse delta towns in both Louisiana and Mississippi than the bustling metropolis of Ferriday-Vidalia.

Hundreds is a stretch. Lake Providence is probably right there in a footrace. I actually like Rayvegas and Delhi.
