Wait a minute. Unless they fought in vietnam, they made a choice to go into the military. And there are military people who will tell you this. There are other jobs out there in which people risk their life doing.

That’s just a retarded invalid who saps off of the public and talks shite on the internet day and night.

Don’t worry about answering his retarded questions. He’s a worthless individual. He has no morality or dignity. He’s scum.

Today of all days..

I've had military people ask me if we had a discount at my various jobs. If I can, I throw them at least 10% or something. If I absolutely cannot, not one of them has ever been an arse about it. Just my experience.

I’m not bitching they get discounts I just don’t understand the vets who expect it wherever they go.

Do you follow these guys around all day? I mean if you saw more of this today... well it is Veterans Day. Maybe they were mentioning it in order to get their discount. How else are they supposed to get it if they don’t ask for it?

I know what your saying. It's like some take it too far. I think for the most part some vets are just more aggressive when it comes to wanting their benefits and discounts validated. Some like me, I look at it as hey if someone gives me a discount cool, but I'd rather they remind me of the discount.

I don't like making a scene lol. I think what's the real issue is the VA. This is where I think Vets get overlooked and sometimes treated like shite.

No. That is taken out of context. Trust me, my grandfather was in WWII, my dad was in the military.. I am extremely thankful for what those who have fought for this country sacrificed, with that said, that doesn't mean I can't question things.

I had to edit that. I meant to say "by a former marine, feels."

That probably comes off a lot worse than my intentions..

I think veterans ask because a lot of people do offer discounts, but some people just take it the wrong way. There is nothing wrong with them asking.

The only line I left out was "I love my country but". If it's out of context it's because you didn't include the context in the first place.

It was me "thinking out loud" more than anything. Look, I don't want to ever come off as one of those people who hate the military. If I had any problem at all, it's with the lack of support the government gives them after serving.. And as a result, it can have a negative impact on other people's lives as well.

No, absolutely not. I just have felt really bad when I've been handcuffed by corporate and forced to say no.

All right man. I'm still not sure what you were trying to say but I'm going to drop it.
