I don't know how much you know about UT's forensic science program, but it is hardly useless and has set the standard for much of what is done in forensic science.
I am not standing up for the professor here, just the program.
Perhaps you didn't read her areas of specialty.

The real story is that that thing was getting paid six figures with benefits to study and teach queer anthropology

"I am an anthropologist by training, but my research and teaching draws on queer studies, feminist studies, critical theory and psychoanalysis to think about questions of kinship, power, love, sexuality, sovereignty, and postsocialism (what comes after state socialism). My teaching is based on the philosophy that learning means being vulnerable to new ideas and problems. As such, my teaching is geared toward seeking newer and more questions rather than having any total answers for existing questions.
This is complete gobbledygook. It's incredible how many people are making 6 figures for this word salad nonsense.

One would think a cultural anthropologist would use the opportunity to study the cultural event and human reaction unbiased instead of interjecting herself in it.

Nothing she taught in particular was worthy of any salary, nothing but "queer/feminism/intersectionality" horse crap no matter how its packaged.

I'm just ashamed that I've missed the greatness of your posts and only just recognized you're here.
