False. I need overnight services frequently, and FedEx is barely more expensive (if it is) than USPS and I haven't had a package not delivered timely with FedEx like I always do with USPS.
Honestly USPS is worthless.

Sent a package last Monday. Supposed to be delivered last thursday. They picked up the package and immediately went to “In Transit, Arriving Late” status. Has not moved since they picked it up. I called and they said the barcode tracking might be damaged but still moving through the Usps system but would be delayed. If not there in 3 days to start a claim.
So it’s a week late and only had to travel 2 states. Now I’m going to have to remake the item and ship for free and try to get them to refund the money

I saw a post office lady worker getting gas today after lunch. She was chatting away with her phone held up to her mouth on speaker. Seemed like she had all the time in the world so it can’t be that much of a delay.

I have 3 packages shipped showing arriving late. They all seemed to have died in the BR origin facility.

The military and the FBI are paid by taxes. They don’t take credit cards, or sell their service. The post office requires a customer pay for a specific service over and above the tax money they get......not the same thing.

I've had one sitting in Baton Rouge for days now. I just keep getting updates that its "arriving late but in transit"

I shipped a package to someone in Lebanon, Tennessee on August 1. Here is the route that it took:
8/1 Prairieville to Baton Rouge
8/2 Baton Rouge to Oxford, Mississippi (WTF)
8/2 Went through several checks and ended up in Nashville.
Then the next update is on 8/9 saying the item arrived at the Baton Rouge Processing Facility
Then on 8/11 it made its way back to Nashville and got delivered to the intended recipient this morning.
It chilled in Nashville for a week apparently, then made a trip back to BR, then back to Lebanon TN in 2 days.

BS. The USPS has to borrow billions from the US Treasury annually to stay afloat, and absolutely nobody with a brain believes that money will ever be paid back. The US Treasury’s money is taxes taken away from US citizens.

Ive got some UPS packages stuck at "Shipment Acceptance at Post Office" for the past 5 days.
I guess somehow UPS is using the USPS For part of the journey?

Fed Ex has been delayed as well. All of these carriers have been struggling with employees calling out causing delays for the past few months.
