There's no frickin way. Those useless idiots lie 93% of the time about "failed attempts" to deliver my packages. They'll say my door or driveway "was not accessible" for 2 or 3 days before finally delivering it.

Lazy motherfrickers.

What was the rate of delivery before that dipshite was put in charge of USPS?

He literally dismantled machinery and you're making this about private/public. It's not, there's just a moron who came from private competitors of USPS to dismantle USPS and it's working. SHOCKER.

I was asked the leave the usps location by my office bc I complained that my packages weren’t moving. When they said all of the stuff I had shipped 2days before were already out and just must have missed scanning I called her out because I could see a bin of our packages behind her! I was less than pleasant at that point and we had UPS up as an option a couple days later

UPS delivered 96.7% on time

Absolutely no way this is true. Not even close. And all of the packages they lost must have been thrown out of the equation altogether.

FEDEX delivered 95.1% on time

Maybe a tad high. FedEx sucks, too.

Not a chance.

They delivered 100% of my packages minimum of 7-10 days late.

I got 3 pacakages that were to 3 different addresses. So they may have been on time but they were a bit off target.

USPS doesn’t even make an attempt to deliver to my house if the package doesn’t fit in the mailbox. They claim my house is a mile from the road. It’s not

How far is your house from the road?

I’ve never measured, but it’s about a two minute ride from main road to my doorstep.

A significant number of those packages were “pre-sorted” by the likes of Amazon, UPS, and FedEx. They do all the heavy lifting when it comes to the delivery chain and then drop the packages off at the local Post Office; the local office only has to take the (pre-labeled and pre-sorted) package from their building to your door on their normal route.

Believe me, if it was entirely up to the USPS to deliver everything purchased online from the stores/warehouses then they’d fail miserably.

Kinda hard to be late when expected delivery date is 2 weeks out. Low expectations are easily met. Apples vs Oranges

USPS has it's issues, but don't let FedEx truck you into thinking they're any better lately. They are batting a cool .400 since Christmas for me.

Guy pulls up to my house in a U-Haul truck. I’m thinking that my buyers are already trying to move things in. I go out on the porch to see what’s going on, and it’s a FedEx guy delivering something that the buyers had had delivered there. FedEx is using any means possible.

Ground drivers work for different contractors.

I'll bet you anything that the guy driving the Uhaul was just someone who's normal truck was broke down that day.

and a lot of the trucks are just uhauls anyway painted over in Fedex colors.

except for those big arse box trucks.

That's 100 percent bullshite. I sell shite on ebay and nearly all of my USPS packages were delayed at least a week, some took over a month to arrive.

I just pulled our data from our family business that my only involvement with is managing shipping.

I pulled the 400 orders shipped on the 18th and going back to what turned out to be shipping on the 3rd of Dec and 34 of that packages were late. 16 of them were a day late, 9 were 2 days late and 9 of them were 3 or more days late with the longest delay being 9 days. I looked at the previous three weeks but the late rate was down at about 2%. This is about a 50/50 mix of 1st class and priority mail.

What I noticed compared to years prior is the late rate started over a week earlier than usual and the late rate has also stayed higher much longer than usual. It is usually back to normal within 3-4 days after Christmas. Since getting back close to normal by mid-January for technically late packages where we would normally see packages arriving a day early via 1st class those are much more likely to arrive on the expected day. We are showing some weirdness as a result of the weather (maybe) as two going to Las Vegas and San Diego are over a week late and were mis-shipped to Tampa (from SC) before moving West.

Too bad this does not apply to regular mail. Took 11 days for my letter to go about 20 miles in December. Not really a shock that Trump even managed to screwed up delivering mail.
