Using the toilet, going defecating, hygiene, being self conscience

When you poop, do you wash your hands with your pants around your ankles or do you pull up and tuck before washing? I like to wash hands before touching my pants so I don't get shite all over them. But standing in front of the bathroom mirror looking at my junk isn't a great way to spend the day.
Obviously in a public restroom you'd pull up pants and tuck before heading over to the sink. Which makes me think that the locks on the stalls must be nasty as shite.

Medical Doctor neighbor of mine says you should actually wash your hands BEFORE you use the bathroom not after.

You seem to be under the impression that TP eliminates all fecal matter from getting on your hands. As such, you don't wash your hands after right? No. You wash your hands because there is a chance you weren't as neat as you'd like to think.

I just give my fingers the old sniff test before I leave the bathroom. If they pass, I’m all good.
