Moon was incredible. Saw 5 moons of Jupiter but couldn’t make out much detail on the planet. Saturn was just a big wobbly yellow blur.
I need a good eyepiece with as much magnification as practicable. 200x plus. What’s a good one?
Btw, I have an Orion 130ST.

All that magnification will be wasted if the windows you’re looking in are less than a mile away. Go for a wider angle view.

You spying on the neighbors? That’s illegal.

Nice buy. It's a relatively dry and clear night. Glad you had fun.
Orion's nebula is just below Orion's belt.

Biggest problem I had with my was a steady rest. I built a steel mount which helped steady it. Just breathing on it can make it vibrate enough to be blurry.

Saturn is overrated, seen bigger balls of gas in the quad

Where do you live? Light pollution an issue?

Also download an app called Sky Guide. It will point younin the direction of all sorts of stuff to look at.

Let your scope acclimate. More magnification is pointless if conditions aren’t right. There are a lot of factors that come into play when trying to get a clear image; wind; temperature; humidity; atmosphere; etc.
Don’t even bother with google images of planets, it’ll never look that good unless you own Hubble.

+1 on the sky app. I have had pocket universe for years.
People should be aware though that even with a good telescope, Saturn looks like this.

Saturn still looks cool as hell through a telescope.
