Dude literally gave you a link showing that in the last 3-4 years, the women have brought in more. If you read the article, you'd know they are attributing this to a surge in popularity in women's soccer.
And the fact that they picked that exact time frame when the men werent playing in the World Cup. Its a completely biased and skewed article.

Of course the women want this, they get to do nothing and reap the benefits
Women love equality as long as it benefits them. But Chapelle has a great point. If there is true equality between the sexes, then there would be no women’s soccer team. There would be just the soccer team.

What do the women make when they go to the world cup and do the men get half of that?

The men are averaging more money per goal in this WC than the women got per trophy.

A good time to post the clip of Chappelle's take on women equality.

The women alone have made more with their split from this tournament than they provided the federation during their past two world cups combined.
The federation was ludicrous for agreeing to a new contract with the USWNT, although I understand with the public pressure from complete imbeciles across all walks of life they were backed into a corner. The women had the better contract when you compared line item to line item, they just had a lower ceiling because of that. I wonder if they will use this "revenue" to show their value and if the PC AP reporters will do the same when the women want a new deal in a few years.

You aren't at all curious as to why they used that specific time frame?

All you need to know from the linked article:
quote:
“But right now the shining star of U.S. Soccer is the U.S. women’s national team. These women are heroes and I think that carries great value.”
They think their wokeness makes them heroes and carries great value.

If you don’t like then I just suggest you become really good at soccer, get on the team and advocate for your preferred split. Otherwise these two private organizations can do whatever revenue split they want.
Actually I'm gonna just identify as a woman and then get good enough to make their team. Then get their half of all the money. Why couldn't I just do that, bigot?

Just because I don't know - do the US Women get comparable t.v. ratings when they play in the World Cup vs. men or even better? Is attendance comparable?
How about the same comparison between the pro soccer leagues here in the States - men vs. women. Is there a professional soccer league for women in the U.S.?
