My son’s wife’s stepdad, who was a retired well respected cop, decided for some reason he had had enough I guess. He poured his coffee, got his paper and went to the garage where he closed the door and cranked the lawnmower.

He had everything in order and a letter explaining it all and who got what and so on.

Other than the mower noise I guess that was a peaceful way to go. Depression must be one hell of a bad thing and I pray I never experience it.

Guns aren’t the problem. Just a solution for some folks.

And the “everyone gets a trophy just for showing up” generation coming of age realizing the world doesn’t work that way. That’s gotta be a massive shock to your reality.

And there it is.

And that’s the one thing they’re certain of. Everything else is “may be” and “could be”.

Would it make you feel any better little girl if they was pushed out of windows?

bullshite. People have been isolated and home-bound. The internet/remote society we live in furthers that isolation. There are young adults out there that can't define a distinction between their online-gaming persona and their real life. The media push division and hate. These people are taught to believe they are a square peg trying to fit into a round world. The truth is that it takes hard work and perseverance. This blood is on our leaders. All of them. Guns have been around for centuries.

All of this

it’s probably need to see the stats to really believe this.

either a signficiantly higher suicide rate in places with looser gun laws or no waiting periods or in places that loosened gun laws in that time period.

Or confirmation that guns are the only way to kill yourself.

Also, apparently iPhone won’t allow swipe to populate “kill ourself”

That’s what it keeps forcing.

When people lose Christ, they lose hope. We’re straying further and further away by the second.

It seems like parents will do anything to make sure their kids get what they want. I have been at the ballpark and watch kids go to their parent(s) and ask for money to go to the concession stand, finish whatever they bought and go ask for money for something else and just give it to them.. Then again one or two more times then complain about how their kid spent x amount of their money.

Parents don't tell kids no.

I remember going places and my parents setting the rules before we arrive "Don't ask for anything, I am not giving you money". If I was lucky "you can get one thing and thats it".

It has to be hard when they get older and people don't let them have their way.

Yet nobody treats it like a crisis, even though we have an entire generation of people who think tradition is akin to demonic.
