You didn’t spend much time in Colorado Springs did you? It’s a shithole with bad infrastructure. No way it should be high on any list.

I like Colorado Springs and could live there but I find Fort Collins to be a significantly nicer city and yet it's ranked lower.

I like Durango. Telluride and Ouray would be wonderful, but if you ever want to feel poor, just look at Zillow listings in the former.

Real estate prices in the nice areas of Colorado are way over my budget

A cheap condo in Telluride will cost you more than the same space in Manhattan or San Francisco. It's insane. A 1/3 acre lot in Mountain Village on the golf course is over 600k

Boulder Sugar Tax

If ever there was a liberal hellhole, Boulder, CO is it. Tax sugar drinks, attempted to ban "assault rifles", but legalized pot. It's the San Francisco of Colorado.

I'm never going to live in a city over 150,000 again.

Tired of traffic/strangers/tourists/lack of peace&quiet/crime/liberal policies/high taxes/high cost of living/funding public indoctrination schools etc

Just got back from Missoula, MT. I find it hard to believe that it’s not near the top of the list.

Agreed 100%. Fort Collins is underrated when compared to other Colorado cities.

I didn’t but I’d still imagine it beats the hell out of anything Louisiana has to offer

San Francisco has the money. Big money. Biggest. Downtown has been a wasteland for thirty years.

Clearly they mean near Portland, OR. Not in it.
