BR was a decent place to raise a family in the 80s to early 90s and prior. There were some bad neighborhoods but crime was pretty much confined to those and they were easily avoidable. Some of the public schools were still viable options for the middle class.

shite even in the early 2010s it wasn’t too bad. My house was about $130/sq ft. Now it’s way more than that and the city has just gotten worse.

Alaska has enough closet homosexuals. They don't need more.

I’m cool with the list until #9. It’s all downhill from there.

Colorado is dope. Austin AREA is legit. I’d definitely live in a nearby Austin suburb.

It’s beautiful but unfortunately a large amount of people on this board hate it.

13. Seattle WA Ummmmm, have these people been watching the news lately?

One of my kids lives in the middle of Seattle, says if you didn’t watch the news you would never know any of the riot stuff was happening. It is/was confined to a 6 block area, 99.9999% of Seattle is trouble free.

This. Watching the news is only done by left and right wing extremists. Most rational people know this about several large US cities.

I tried to sell a vehicle online around 2008, even though it clearly stated the location as Baton Rouge, every out of state inquiry from the North East or Western US wanted to know if it had been flooded in Katrina.

I’d love to live in Boulder, but I’m probably too poor. It’s amazing how much more active and energetic I am when I’m not baking in a sunny, humid climate.
