Rustic artisan crafted b and b. Extremely large bathroom facility, solar heating and nutrient rich water supply nearby.

From what I heard where he was found was probably only a couple hundred yards off of a gravel road.

How did that dude get out on a bond that high? Damn bail reform
Get this man a Dave Ramsey subscription. He posted a $5.1 million bail and he lives in a tent. Poor financial acumen.

I wonder how many criminals there are, that we don’t know about, that are hiding out in swamps and stuff down here.

That’s worse than jail, maybe?

He had somebody bringing him supplies. FACT.

He should have asked for a nice camo tent if he had a helper.

May have been a criminal but this dude either watched a ton of survial shows or was an Eagle scout, or both.

Was he there without AC during the hottest summer ever last year?

Not only a perv, but this guy is an idiot.
Likely forfeit his bond.
He was spending harder time in the swamp than he would have spent in prison - and none of that time counts.
And all he had to do was comply with his offender registry requirements and avoid all of this!

OTOH, it gives us all a laugh at the complete stupidity.

Hopefully, nobody was harmed during this foolishness.

You can’t build a kickass log cabin in the clink, son.

You're quite welcome!

I personally knew two guys who bugged out, one in the North GA mountains and another in the Smokies. One spent two years, the other one could still be back there.

Just remember that anything out there that would attack you at night is also out there during the day and would attack you then, too.

Yup. 1 mile is a warmup at Sherburne. IDK how he made it out there since January without somebody walking up on his camp and reporting him. He must have had his tent really well hidden.

I do not think this was much of a feat. Two months is not long and it is pretty stupid to only go a mile deep and to stay in the same state where you are wanted is equally stupid.

You go somewhere like the ND=Montana border where local authorities may not be as motivated to use their resources to hunt you. Or go to Slab City, Ca and you also get some road strange but then you have to add penicillin to your shopping list. And one trip to Walmart could keep you fed for a half year if you knew how to make a fire and did not mind cheap canned food and rice.
