This is a Canadian WHO official dodging questions about Taiwan, flat out refusing to answer. Oh and says if he gets corona he would like to be treated in China.

Do some research on WHO and China ties then tell us what you really think.

THIS but I'd be very careful how far you go with Taiwan. Xi will just build another island to expand their territorial waters closer to Taiwan. Aligning with Vietnam would be interesting. We're already economically aligned with them and a lot of those countries. The question is whether we will lock up those alliances before China can sink their claws into those countries.

I'd love to see us ceding the ME sandbox to China and move those resources towards containing Chinese expansion throughout Asia. This could lead to an interesting dynamic between Xi and Putin. If you want to be even more forward thinking, go into Africa with more than a token donation.

And let's not forget the big thing here. Our country may not be in a position financially to throw money outside of our borders. I think we're going to see a turn towards isolationism financially and may very well be on equal economic footing as the Pacific Asian countries we need to isolate China.

I can get down with this. Another plus is they all have better looking women than China.

It's an election year. They're doing everything they can to put a decrepit old man (who can't even finish a thought) into office. I think Trump's timing was perfect when you don't look at it in a vacuum. For chrissakes they slammed him for closing down travel with China... now they want to push that here should have done more back then? frick that...change social distancing standards to 25' in the White House and kick Acosta's self serving arse out onto Pennsylvania Avenue (preferably as a bus is about to go by.)
