Damn, that's one of the brand new TBM 900's. Those are badass airplanes.

TBM-Socata aircraft are million dollar turboprops. Not a cheap airplane.

Plane would lose pressure before the windows would frost over. The plane would be air-conditioned, it would take a long time for the windows to frost after it lost pressure.

Question for aviation guys, why is there not enough oxygen in a plane to stay conscious at 29k, but people can still climb Everest without oxygen?

Aren't there base camps set up with oxygen available? Good question, though.

People that do that have A LOT of conditional training, plus they have to spend weeks climbing up to everest to condition their bodies to the high elevation and lack of oxygen... And there aren't many people that can.

Don't the climbers have oxygen tanks? I always thought they did.

Most do. The sherpas who pack all of their shite for them probably rarely use oxygen. Those are some bad mofos.

The one in the picture with the matching tail number is a 900. only the 900s have the new composite five blade prop and winglets. That edition of flying magazine is on the top of the pile next to my toilet haha.

Conscious or unconscious a plane crash is the only reason I'll ever go back to Jamaica.

The Third World meets overweight, ugly low class white folks.

what does this have to do with this plane

quote:

Fishing Boat Hauls In Plane Wreckage Along With Its Catch Late last week, a fishing trawler off the coast of New Zealand made a gruesome discovery while hauling in its catch -- the wreckage of a small aircraft, with human remains inside of it.

I climbed that thing when I was there. I didn't realize until we were climbing it that it's not natural. What BS.

Also, I was told on all my flights that in the event of a cabin depressurization that masks would drop from the ceiling with oxygen? What gives?

Same as this: I'm told you can't park a plane just anywhere.

Who knew?
