I have been buying the same community coffee bag for many years now. I've never paid over $9 for it.

Thanks for reminding me the news in this country is still stupid 95% of the time.

... a 12 OZ bag for $6.99 = $9.32/lb

try waking up and exercising. Coffee is like cereal. We've been conditioned to believe we need it. But if you leave it alone and try actually moving around in the morning, you realize you don't need it.

one pound of coffee can yield 30 cups of coffee, yet people are stupid enough to pay at least $4 per cup at these coffee shops. Wake up people! They are price gouging the crap out of you!

Correct, but it's a shame that the country is so fickle. Putting dems back in isn't going to solve anything.

Voters being fickle is a feature of the 2 party system.

When republicans frick everything up, vote in the democrats so they can have a turn to frick everything up.

With no chance for improvement and maybe a worse situation at the border.

I am feeling the beef prices. I am a big red meat eater and it's absurd how expensive it is relative to 5-7 years ago.

My butcher claims it's a delayed impact from COVID era cattle management and we're feeling it now.

By the way, 12oz at $6.99 is $.05825 per oz, or $9.32 per pound

The point i was making is that it's been the same price for the last several years.
2 years ago when average coffee prices, according to this report, were supposedly $6.00/lb, this same bag still cost $7-$9. At no point has it ever been $4.50 (6.00/lb) for this bag, or less than that.

Theres no chance of improvement if you vote blue or red. Those are votes for corporatism and corruption.

The ground pork/beef mix isn’t bad and it’s cheaper too.

Come on, man. You specifically said that you've never "paid over $9 for it". You made a mistake. shite happens

But the current $7 bag is the sale price. Compared to the retail price $7 from a few years ago.

A few years ago, you could routinely find 3/$12 deals at Rouses and Albertsons every other month or so.
