The American people are fighting over two sides of a shite sandwich.
Identity politics and the lack of term limits will be two major factors in the demise of this country. It should not be R vs D, it should be US vs THEM. There is not a single career politician that wants to see the truth of how our government operates come to light. No Democrat, no Republican, or anything in between desires that. They will never compromise their gravy train.
But by all means, keep fighting over the shite sandwich. There are no winners in this game.
ETA: There are winners in this game. They are the career politicians who will continue getting rich off of a public servant job.

Every point the center right can take against the woke “we don’t invade property, act violent, etc...” is revoked. We have a Democrat president, Senate, and House - and we’re about to enter at a minimum 2 year period of not being able to do sh**te because we no longer hold a moral high ground against the BLM protesters.
The MAJOR fight that was won just before the election (a conservative Supreme Court) is now lost, and now we find ourselves with no barriers to a 13 member Supreme Court with 4 brand new 26 year old life long justices with purple hair.
Conservatives have always thought strategically, and that was ALWAYS the advantage republicans had over democrats, but this is a sign this is no longer the case.
