the Supreme Court will be added to with extremist, the Senate will change rules on filibusters, and the house can impeach anything they want with a lapdog media with a Senate rubber stamp.

Both of those would take a Super Majority which Dems will not have.

You are being fed a common political tactic called the "Slippery Slope Fallacy" where one thing leads to another, to another, to another, to cataclysm.

What? You don't believe the TRUTH about the blood sucking cabal of rich pedophiles that run the world story that only makes slightly less sense than scientology?

I'm LUMPING THEM IN with all the other groups who have felt a certain sense of disenfranchisement. Nothing can be fixed now. It started generations ago. And holding Trump up as a last line of defense to save our great nation? How laughable a choice to make. It's all a con. Welcome to the realization.

You can laugh all you want, but these people finally felt as if someone was listening to them and actually trying to help them for a change. And the media and their own party did whatever they could to stop his efforts. And you are 100% looking down on these people whether you're willing to admit it or not. Again, your attitude, as shared my most in media, academia, pop culture, etc is a major contributing factor to what you see right now. Believe it, don't believe it, I don't care.

Which country does Trump go to where he can't be extradited? UAE, Russia, Mauritania or maybe the Maldives?

My bet is the Maldives.

these protests would have a lot more gravitas if they weren't attached to some of the worst and most idiotic conspiracy theories ever, pushed the past 2 months

I read the Election Board a few times over the last few months and I concluded that it had to be a LARP at this point

I'll read it sometimes during a big election but I check out of politics after that. People that live and breathe that stuff are generally unhappy or crazy.

When this is over the worst thing Republicans can do is cry about how embarrassed they are and how we need unity more than ever.

Those things might be true, but the left did absolutely none of that shite in months of rioting. The left/media don't care about this, they care about the opening they might get out of this to censor speech, come for your guns, etc.

Just roll your eyes and move on.

Peaceful protesters?

Trump fricked this up. Could have just accepted the loss, campaigned non stop over the next 4 years, and build more of a moderate base.

There probably was likely fraud going on, but not enough to explain his loss.

That is an opinion. My opinion is that it was enough to explain the loss. All they needed were a few million and a few cities and they knew it.

But you know what could resolve our opinions? A true audit of the votes in these cities.

They refuse, this is the result.

same

i texted this to a friend the other day

quote:

Overly printing money due to covid and the corresponding inflation really scares me. That's by far my biggest worry. Then worldwide depression (which is why we'll continue to overprint to hold it off).

Then the fracturing of the political parties of the US by extremists. It's been happening with the DEMs for years but this Trump election thing has really solidified a similar response to the far left revolt under Trump. Now they will be the minority-revolution party which will embolden the far extremes. The extreme-left will be pissed at a mostly moderate Biden Presidency and will also adopt that minority-revolution identity

and all I'm saying is that the "well this is what happens when you disenfranchise a group of people" rationale was used by the left to justify the chaos

I get what you're saying. I'm just saying the responses to these issues show the differences in the movements.
