Shithole state. Can't wait to leave.
Every retirement discussion I have with friends eventually evolves to where everyone is going when they retire. We love LSU when they're not busy being woke, but we're leaving.

A whole lot more than that. They are getting $260 a square foot and practically everything is pre-sold.

There are quite a few non-gated neighborhoods in Baton Rouge Metro that have cameras. For all the hate that HOA's receive, the push for, installation, and maintenance of entrance/exit cameras is the main reason I fully support my HOA.

A decent HOA can provide a lot of value.

I seriously think that cameras in these entry/exit points are going to be needed. They aren't that expensive anymore.

Northern AP and southern EBR are kind of the hot part of the metro for real estate. This is definitely a nicer neighborhood even though I don't like the format very much.

Front facing garage doors annoy me.

Without a gun? Im not victim blaming, but you have to assume they have a gun and you want to make any potential thieves think its more risky to come to your neighborhood.

Well AP has the highest per capita income in the State, and the fact that the population growth of Prairieville has not abated in three decades, and with St George looking less and less likely, doesn't appears it will be doing so anytime soon, your comment comes off as a tad silly.

Highest income in the state but isn’t even immune to this stuff. Wow.

I’m not saying they shot back. But someone did and no one is saying a word.

Hell, I went through the woods to get around that damn gate in the back of Riverbend off Brightside. Lady was outside watering her yard, I would've been there for a half hour waiting on her since there we only like 5 houses at the time.

Did you deliver for Pizza Hut Back then? If so we worked together. I was delivering outta Pizza Hut at 4343 Nicholson from 96-99, that was during the time when that fancy private hood was built back there. Just a handful of big arse houses back there. I remember the day the gate was turned on and we started having to call. What a shite show.

My mom used to live off of Oakland in the 90s before all of those other neighborhoods were back there.

Used to be long distance to call her house from EBRP
