Notice the differences between CNN & Fox's coverage of this. CNN makes no mention of Alton having a gun or the police officer ambush that followed.

CNN

Regarding guns at the scene (Not one mention that Sterling was actually carrying a weapon)
quote:

Cell phone video showed Sterling, a black man, pinned to the ground by the white Baton Rouge police officers before he was shot; police said Sterling was shot because he was reaching for a gun.

quote:

The officers were responding to a call about a man with a gun.

quote:

Video evidence couldn't prove or disprove Salamoni's assertion that Sterling was reaching for a gun.

quote:

The Department of Justice said last spring that Salamoni put a gun to Sterling's head when Sterling refused the officers' order to put his hands on the hood of a car.

quote:

At one point, videos show, someone shouts, "He's got a gun!" In one video, an officer draws something from his waistband and points it at Sterling.

quote:

Afterward, the camera captures Sterling with a large bloodstain on his chest as an officer on the ground next to him keeps his gun pointed at him
.
quote:

As Sterling lies fatally wounded, the other officer removes something from Sterling's right pocket.

Regarding BLM (Not one mention of the police ambush that followed)
quote:

Outrage over Sterling's death and two cell phone videos that showed the shooting led to renewed "Black Lives Matter" protests across the nation.

Fox News

Regarding guns at the scene (Not only was Sterling carrying a gun, but was doing so illegally.)

quote:

The officers recovered a loaded revolver from Sterling's pocket. As a convicted felon, Sterling could not legally carry a gun.

Regarding BLM (read for yourself)
quote:

Racial tensions were still simmering in Louisiana's capital when Gavin Long, a 29-year-old black military veteran from Kansas City, Missouri, ambushed police officers near a car wash on July 17, 2016. Long killed three Baton Rouge law enforcement officers and wounded three others before being shot dead.

As I sit here in tears trying to explain to my kids how this is possible.

Here's a start. "If you're a convicted felon, don't posses a loaded weapon."

You're hard pressed to find a drug he wasn't on, per the autopsy

No doubt. The only reason this became such a huge deal is the timing of it. The officers gave him plenty of opportunities, tried to handle the situation with non-lethal alternatives, even holstered their weapon and tried to take him down, yet he refused to cooperate. He was armed and dangerous. They handled it as well as you could possibly hope.

Just wait...SWB and the Metro Council are going to hand a big fricking check to Sterling's family.

So they shot Alton Sterling because he was selling CDs? I know that the rate of return isn't the best and a mutual fund is a better investment vehicle but it wasn't worth shooting him over

"The Attorney General painted Alton as a criminal and the cops as angels, not even alowing the case to go before a grand jury. This is our Amerikka."

Uh... was he not a criminal?

You know how i know that? The report has a toxicologist quoting levels were above the concentration to be intoxicated. You Idiot.

Most test don't even detect the low levels of cocaine present in his system.

I think his BAC made him legally able to drive and in Colorado he would have been below THC limits.

He also had his hands up and was going to go to Southern in the fall to major in social work. He was then going to use his degree to open up a foster home for the disadvantaged youth of NBR.
