This place looks like a combination of Petco and a hospital.
The amount of wheelchairs and emotional support dogs is mind boggling

Don't even know why someone would want to travel with a dog.

The "new" doctor prescribed "handicap parking" permit.

I got my cat registered as an e.s.a. because it's cheaper than paying a sitter but he actually does help with my flight anxiety

I saw some guy get escorted onto ny plane like he was Ray Charles. When I boarded, he was reading a magazine.

I'm at DFW terminal D and there is an indoor pet relief area.

Flew out of Baton Rouge this week and got upgraded. Very pleasant experience overall.
Didn't see any of the usual shenanigans until I got to Atlanta, which was a zoo of epic proportions.

Man I'm so glad I am not traveling for Thanksgiving or Christmas this year. Sitting on my couch watching football drinking a Sierra Nevada IPA.

Yeah, this is simply mind boggling to me that I have to put up with some bitch and her Shitzu coming up and licking my face. The emotional support dog is sheer narcissism.

Hadn't flown for at least a year...could not believe the number of fricking dogs I saw in airports and on planes.

This is why I always get either the exit row or the front row of the bulkhead. Those are "animal/kid" free rows. I have kids and I understand the issues they present when traveling. I just don't want to have to deal with someone else kids because they choose not to because "I am on vacation and want to relax." Actual quote told to me by a mom when I asked her to tell her son to quit jumping in the seat next to me.
I was on a flight once where a woman brought her rat dog onto the exit row. The flight attendant said that she shouldn't have the animal there. She got all belligerent that the dog is an emotional support dog and that she has to have the animal. The FA was trying to tell her she could have the animal just not on the exit row. The woman refused to listen and it got pretty heated. The FA just walked away and about 5 minutes later the Captain walked up with a police officer. The Captain was all business. You can move to another seat with your dog or you can leave the plane. You have 5 seconds to decide before he (points to the police officer) decides for you.

emotional support dogs are a pet lovers scam to be able to bring their dog everywhere.

I get a little tense when I fly too. It would really help if I rubbed one out during the flight. Why is that frowned upon if I've got to sit next to a dog that I'm allergic to?

If someone's dog would lick my face I'd freak the frick out

We were picked for a random "full check" today, with the full pat down, luggage search, and gunpowder check, while two Muslim women in full garb walked right on through. I know they're scared to offend them, but it's ridiculous.
And the dogs are everywhere.
