I wonder how much of that has to do with the tires that are equipped.

Not saying a Bronco is gonna ride like a Lexus on an airride suspension or something, but it wasnt that bad when I drove one.

My sister had one of those for about a year. They're extremely rough, loud as hell, and suck when it comes to gas mileage. Plus, it's a Ford.

I had a 69 with 3 on the tree handed down from my pawpaw. It was like driving a tractor.

I don't know about the 4 cylinder ones, but the Ecoboost V6 ones put out 330HP/415lb-ft. They use that same engine in F-150s. I wouldn't call it fast, but it's not a slouch.

Enjoy it and use it for what it is. Expect a Jeep and you’ll have a great time. Expect an Escalade and you’ll be disappointed. So many people buy 4x4’s then complain they aren’t comfortable. This is why the original SUVs all went soft in the first place.

I nice old one is probably not something you want to daily drive anyway. A decent Bronco before 1978 is probably gonna cost you 6 figures +. Not sure you want something that costs as much as a starter home to putt around in.
